The Helen Day Art Center, in Stowe,VT,USA, created a competition for artists all over the world called the 'relentless eye'. The competition was basically about using cell phone cameras to create artistic work through vision. The finalists of the competition would receive commissions at a certain level for each purchase of work and the rest will go towards the development of the museum.
